The New England region is home to hundreds of extraordinary vehicles: veteran cars, horse-drawn carriages, military and agricultural machines, and rare motoring survivors found nowhere else in the world. Right now, this collection has no permanent home. Cars sit in sheds and private collections, their stories at risk of being lost, when they should be on display for the whole community to discover and enjoy.
For over a decade, a dedicated group of volunteers has worked toward a single goal: giving this heritage the museum it deserves. That dream is now within reach. Planning approval has been secured, land has been allocated in the Armidale Airside Business Park, and the only thing standing between plans on paper and a museum our region can be proud of is the funding to build it.
This isn't just about a building. It's about making sure our grandchildren and great-grandchildren can walk through a museum one day and see, touch, and understand the machines that shaped how Australians lived, worked, farmed, and travelled. It's about honouring the people who built, drove, and cared for these vehicles and passing that story on rather than letting it quietly disappear.
Every ticket you buy is a vote for keeping that history alive. It's also a vote for Armidale's future, the museum is expected to bring 10,000 to 15,000 extra visitors to town each year, supporting local motels, cafes, and tourism businesses for generations to come.

This raffle is being run by the Australian Transport Museum with proceeds towards the museum building fund.

Prize 1
Precision Motors Armidale will arrange with the winner to register the car in the winner's name. Collection is from their address at 101–107 Barney Street, Armidale.
If the winner is an interstate resident, an allowance may be made for interstate registration and stamp duty, but this will not exceed the amount payable in New South Wales.

Notification
Winners will be notified by email or Australia Post, to the address provided when the ticket was purchased. Winners will be published on the museum's website and in the Armidale Express within seven days of the draw.
If prizes are not claimed within three months, another draw will be held.
